The Model HCS-1H is a primary standard shunt resistor designed for the accurate measurement of altemating currents in the frequency range from 50Hz to 1OKHz. It utilizes the triaxial construction used in the Holt HCS-1 shunt series to enable the user to route the potential leads of the measurement system in space which is competely free of the magnetic fields of the current Circuit. The four terminal impedance of the HCS-1H shunt resistor is approximately 2 milli ohms at DC rising typically 1.0% at 50 KHz. An auxiliary compensation unit PIN 886847 may be used with the HCS-1 H shunt to provide an effective 4 terminal transfer impedance to 1
milli ohm +/- 0.1%.
